JavaScript Job: Junior Software Engineer

Norbar® Torque Tools, the world-leading Torque Tool manufacturer, have a vacancy to join our Software Design and Development Team.

Norbar® has been at the forefront of torque measurement and application products for many years. Software and Electronics are key elements in our continual battle to ensure that our products remain ahead of the competition.

For this role, there is no requirement for familiarity with – or experience of – a specific Programming Language. Rather, Norbar® are looking for an individual with experience with at least one of the following programming languages:

C/C++/C#, JavaScript, HTML & CSS, Java, Kotlin, Xamarin, Python

In addition to experience with at least one of these languages, Norbar® are looking for a candidate with one (or more) of the following Qualifications/skills:

· Qualified to ‘A’ level standard or above in a relevant discipline

· A passion for Software (in addition to technology as a whole)

· A keen interest to learn

· Collaborative in nature and enjoy working with others

· Understanding of & Experience with Software Testing & Documentation

· Familiarity with Version Control Systems (i.e., Git)

· Experience with Embedded Firmware Development (i.e., Arduino)

In return for a 38½ week, we can offer a starting salary in range £26,000 to £31,000 depending on experience.
